This has not been a great week for me. I did get my tissue type test done on Monday though, now I need to use those patience that God keeps reminding me of...
Becca was diagnosed Monday with asthma. She is having a very rough time and is real sick. She is so pale, and having difficulty breathing even with her new inhalers and zertec. I gave her a breathing treatment last night and that seemed to help a little, but she didn't like how it made her heart race.
Casey (our rescue dog that we got) is not handling Staci's new kittens very well. He isn't eating, so I make up his food with oatmeal and buttermilk, and then sit on the floor and hand feed him. This seems to be working; however, Alyson doesn't seem to have the patience to do this. Gee, I wonder where she got that from....hmmmmm.
I leave for Houston tomorrow. I will be gone til Sunday, and am having a very tough time with this.... This is for Leadership training again with Stampin' Up! This is a once a year thing for upper management, and with the anniversary of Jim's heartattack on Friday, and me being gone again, I am just not ready. There are too many things going on...Becca not feeling well, Casey not eating, Adam is going away on a Church winter weekend camp. I am staying with Denise again, along with other friends, Suzie and Brenda from California. And I used my frequent flyer miles for a free airline ticket, so it's not the money. I just don't feel like I should be going. Jim is helping. He keeps reminding me that I need to take better care of myself, and that I need to go, and that everything will be ok. For heavens sake, I've been going on these trips twice a year for the last 12 years!

hang in there!! It's totally understandable to be feeling that way, but Leadership will really rejuvenate you, and your loving family will be waiting for you when you return :)
HAVE A BLAST!
Caroline,
Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. I hope to meet you in person some day. Are you going to Houston or Denver?
Blessings,
Jan
